It’s
Thursday night, we’re in the heart of Toyko - one of the world’s largest
cities, a bustling metropolis of 30 million inhabitants and three travellers
scared of chicken. After a hard day of taking in the sights, our bodies could
no longer function without the fuel they require. Our tanks were just about
empty, we had one shot, one opportunity to make this happen. Out of nowhere,
like an oasis in the desert appeared the Harbor Inn (Japlish). We entered the
bar and found we were outnumbered 2 staff to every one of us, five bar staff and
our own private piano player performing on request. Instead of putting $10 in,
we filled out tanks for the long journey home.
